Dear Southeastern California Conference family, 

We regret to announce the passing of Pastor John T. Anderson. Pastor John T. Anderson faithfully and joyfully served the Southeastern California Conference for 50 years.  

Pastor Anderson had a true servant's heart and a generous spirit.  He was a man of deep faith whose passion was preaching the gospel, with special emphasis on sharing the Three Angels' Messages.  He was honored to share on LLBN, 3ABN, Secrets Unsealed and many mission trips around the world.  He authored 15 books easily explaining Biblical truths.  Outside of his ministry, he found great joy in composing music, playing the piano, singing, woodworking, gardening and baking.  

Pastor Anderson is survived by his wife, Sandy; his son and daughter-in-law, Cane and Becky; and his four granddaughters, Rachael, Makenna, Zoey, and Lexi.  He also leaves behind his sisters, Lorraine and Susan, along with their families, and his brother, Tim.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 29, 2026, at the Murrieta Springs SDA Church.  As the date approaches, further details and updates will be shared on CaringBridge.org under the account of Pastor John T. Anderson.
